July 14, 2006, Newsletter Issue #6: Buy Wine: Associating Place With Taste

1

Tip of the Week

There are three ways to buy wine: by price, by producer, and by label. If you're tired of grabbing that same $8.99 bottle of wine off the shelf but want to pick something that is sure to suit your taste buds, here's how to use the label to figure out what a wine might taste like. Pay attention to the wine regions of the wines you enjoy drinking. Then you will associate a place with a taste. Associating place with taste offers a quick way to buy wine armed simply with the knowledge of certain wine regions.
